Terms of sale

2. Scope

These terms of sale govern sales made on boukmanastro.com, to consumers and businesses, of:

• personalised astrology reports (birth chart, couple compatibility, one- and six-month horoscopes), calculated from the birth details provided and delivered as PDF;
• ebooks, non-personalised digital content delivered as PDF;
• private consultations, held by video call.

Printed books offered from Boukmanastro are sold by Astro Secrets, under its own terms of sale, shown on its order page.

3. Pre-contractual information

Before ordering, the Customer is informed of the main characteristics of the product, its price including taxes, delivery times and the conditions of the right of withdrawal. These terms and the privacy policy are available at any time from the footer of every page.

4. Prices

Prices are shown in the displayed currency, including taxes. The buyer's country, asked before payment, determines the applicable VAT without changing the displayed price. Any bank or currency conversion fees are borne by the Customer.

5. Orders

The Customer chooses a product, enters the required details (including birth details for a personalised report), their country and email address, then pays. An order confirmation is sent by email. The Seller may refuse or suspend an order in case of suspected fraud, payment incident or obviously incorrect information.

6. Payment

Payment is made online through Stripe, on a secure page. The charge is immediate. Card details never pass through this site and are not stored by the Seller.

7. Delivery

• Personalised reports: a download link is emailed as soon as the document is ready, usually within an hour. The link stays valid for seven days; the document then remains available from the order page.
• Ebooks: download link emailed after payment.
• Consultations: the Customer books a slot after payment; the session takes place by video call on the agreed date.

Missing or inconsistent details may delay delivery; the Seller then contacts the Customer.

8. Right of withdrawal

• Personalised reports: the right of withdrawal does not apply to content made to the Customer's specifications (French Consumer Code, article L221-28, 3°), nor to digital content whose supply has begun with their express consent (article L221-28, 13°).
• Ebooks: by requesting immediate delivery, the Customer acknowledges waiving their right of withdrawal (article L221-28, 13°).
• Consultations: the Customer has fourteen days to withdraw, unless the consultation has been fully performed before the end of that period at their express request (article L221-28, 1°).

9. Conformity and warranties

The Seller guarantees a readable file and a working link. In case of a technical failure attributable to the Seller (inactive link, corrupted file, error in the details taken from the order), the document is regenerated or sent again. Statutory conformity warranties apply as provided by law.

10. Refunds

Refund conditions are set out in the refund policy, which supplements these terms.

11. Liability

Reports and consultations offer an astrological reading: they do not replace medical, legal or financial advice, nor the support of a qualified professional. To the extent permitted by law, the Seller's liability is limited to the amount paid for the product concerned and excludes indirect damage. No limitation applies in case of gross negligence or wilful misconduct, personal injury, or where the law forbids it.

12. Force majeure

Neither party is liable for a failure caused by force majeure within the meaning of article 1218 of the French Civil Code.

13. Intellectual property

Documents are licensed for personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable and non-commercial use. Any reproduction, distribution, resale or publication, in whole or in part, without the Seller's written permission is prohibited.

14. Personal data

The data collected is used to process the order, calculate personalised documents and send service emails; the newsletter is only sent with express consent. Processing and the Customer's rights are described in the privacy policy.

15. Governing law and disputes

These terms are governed by French law, without prejudice to the mandatory provisions of the consumer's country of residence. After a written complaint to the Seller that remains unresolved, consumers may use the consumer mediator free of charge: CM2C, 14 rue Saint-Jean, 75017 Paris, France, cm2c.net. Failing an amicable solution, the courts of Nanterre have jurisdiction, subject to the rules protecting consumers.

The French version of these terms prevails in case of discrepancy.
